All-New 2027 Kia Telluride Preview

The 2027 Telluride keeps the strong, composed presence that made the nameplate a standout, while stepping into a cleaner, contemporary style that feels ready for the next decade.

Inside, Kia leans into a “life on the move” mindset, with a cabin that can be configured for 7 or 8 passengers. Expect available premium materials, an available ambient lighting system for an elevated cabin vibe, and comfort features that help long drives feel shorter.

Available 1st- and 2nd-row Relaxation Seats bring a lounge-like feel to daily driving, while 2nd-row captain’s chairs add flexibility and make third-row access easier. Heated and ventilated seating also expands comfort across the cabin.

Kia is giving the 2027 Telluride a powertrain lineup designed for real-world needs: confident merging, confident passing, and confident towing.

A 2.5-liter turbo arrives standard, rated at 274 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Drive can be sent to the front wheels, with available all-wheel drive for added traction and seasonal confidence.

Then there’s the headline grabber: the available 2.5-liter turbo hybrid. Kia targets up to 329 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic, along with a Kia-estimated 35 MPG combined and a Kia-estimated 600-mile total driving range for the Telluride Hybrid EX FWD.

The 2027 Telluride’s tech suite aims to feel modern, intuitive, and family-friendly, with features built for daily life and longer drives. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are standard across trims, and the centerpiece infotainment system uses Kia’s Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) operating system.

Over-the-air update capability supports software updates for onboard systems, including screens and navigation. Kia also adds a generative AI voice assistant that supports natural conversation and even lighthearted voice games, triggered with “Hey, Kia…”.

Plus, Digital Key 2.0 expands access through compatible Apple and Samsung smartphones or an NFC-enabled smart card, with sharing available for up to three people on supported devices, including Apple Watch.

Hybrid owners get an extra quality-of-life perk: Stay Mode can keep climate control, lights, and audio running for up to 20 minutes while parked, or until the battery reaches around 20%, using hybrid power.
