2019 Looks to Be a Big Model Year for Kia -- Check Out Some of the Latest Lineup!

You've seen exceptional performance, advanced technologies, creature comforts, and amenities galore in new Kia SUVs like the 2019 Kia Sorento, Kia Soul, and Kia Sportage. But did you know that there's even more to look forward to for the new model year? You can get the scoop on a few standouts right here at Feldman Kia.

For instance, the 2019 Kia Forte compact sedan, in its third generation, may come available this fall or thereabouts. It'll offer, among other improvements, a more refined, sophisticated, and best of all, Kia Stinger sports car-inspired design. Under the hood, you'll find a second-generation 2.0-liter Nu four-cylinder engine with Atkinson Cycle technology and a cooled EGR system. The latter is usually reserved for hybrid and electric vehicles, so, in tandem with new Intelligent Variable Transmission, which inaugurates a new line of Smart Stream technologies, the result ought to be enhanced fuel efficiency based on a variety of driving situations. The word is that we'll be able to count on improved EPA-estimated fuel economy of up to 31 MPG city, 41 MPG highway, and 35 MPG combined in the FE trim with an IVT transmission, with LXS, S, and EX trims close by at 30 MPG city, 40 MPG highway, and 34 MPG combined by EPA estimates.

2019 Forte also looks to be more comfortable and better-equipped than ever. Its increased body stiffness, and lusher, more lumbar-supportive seating sets out to deliver a quieter cabin, complete with an 8-inch color touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, available wireless charging, an optional 320-watt, eight-speaker Harman/Kardon premium sound system, and more. Plus, at 15.3 cubic feet, the car's trunk weighs in among the roomiest in the segment. To boot, many Kia Drive Wise safety- and driver-assistance technologies are now standard across trims, from Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and a Driver Attention Warning feature to Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning. More advanced systems like Smart Cruise Control, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning are available as well.

The new 2019 Kia Optima, on the other hand, having debuted at the New York International Auto Show in March, promises a refreshed lineup of LX, S, EX, and SX trims, each soon to appear. Expect a fresh design and new accents, a European-inspired interior style, with new heated leather front seating available, and perks like push-button start, smart key, and a smart trunk, all standard. Enhanced driver-assist systems will come standard across the line, too, including Smart Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go. What's more, the mid-size car's UVO infotainment system's now more capable and easier to use than ever, with voice recognition, Apple and Android smartphone compatibility, and UVO link support for numerous remote features. They include diagnostics on-demand, maintenance alerts, alarm notifications, geofencing capabilities, speed alerts, remote start with and climate control, remote locking and unlocking, and remote horn and light activation.

The family-friendly 2019 Kia Sedona, also a prominent presence at NYIAS, looks just as exciting. Its L, LX, EX, EX Premium, SX, and SXL trims appear in newly designed CUV-like proportions and a new exterior, home to flexible seating for seven to eight and with the luxury of either available second-row Slide-N-Stow seats or First Class reclining lounge seats with footrests. Moreover, there will be more technology and amenities than ever, from a newly added power sliding-door button and a new rear-seat entertainment system with 10.1-inch dual touchscreens to optional USB charging in the luggage area and an available Harman Kardon premium audio system.

Finally, but not least, comes the new 2019 Kia K900, a luxury car reimagined and redesigned according to the Kia 'Gravity of Prestige' design ethic, with sweeping aesthetics and a longer and wider physique culminating in a striking new Quadric pattern signature grille. Under its attention-commanding hood is a 3.3-liter twin turbo V6, recently named to Wards Auto's 10 Best Engines list. Inside, luxury minimalism pervades, with a wraparound design, metal veneers, available wood trim, and leather-trimmed, heated, and ventilated premium seating, with width-adjusting bolsters and lumbar support available. Also, you can look forward to tech at the vanguard of industry, such as UVO luxe infotainment, a 12.3-inch Human Machine Interface (HMI) touchscreen that displays maps and trip info, shows audio sources, helps you manage climate controls and more, not to mention an optional premium navigation system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless mobile phone charger.

Needless to say, big things are happening, and you'll soon be able to see them in person here on Grand River Avenue in our Novi, MI neighborhood.
